Wells may eventually need to be serviced as nature takes over and begins to clog the system.
When the well runs dry it doesn’t necessarily mean digging in a new location. In fact, about 70% of the time, when a well quits producing water, this is the case. The minerals have built up to a point that they have restricted the water flow and it appears as though the well has no more water and therefore you need to start over with a new one.
NOT ALL WELL DRILLERS ARE ALIKE! CALL TIM BEFORE YOU DRILL.
When the above scenario happens, and you call another well driller whose only specialty is to start new and create a new well, that’s exactly what you will get, even though there might be a more viable and less expensive option. The cost of rehabbing your existing well is significantly less than starting over, probably about HALF the cost of drilling a new well. So before you assume there is a need to have a new well, call us at 724-547-0184.
HOW WELL REHABILITATION WORKS
Well rehab is the process of using a cable tool machine to pound or hammer the water well (swabbing the well) which scrapes off the minerals, and develops the aquifer back to original gallons per minute. The machine you see pictured to the right is used for this procedure.
When you need an honest evaluation of your best option for repairing or servicing your well, you won’t find anyone more knowledgable than Tim at Keystone Water Well Drilling.
